I got inspiration from the Egyptian mythology and the sacred relationship between Horus and Hathor. In this evocative tableau, the divine feminine and the celestial falcon converge in a moment suspended between myth and eternity. Viewers may feel as though they are witnessing a sacred, almost whispered exchange between realms—human and divine, conscious and subconscious. Mixed media was chosen for its ability to layer textures and meanings, mirroring the complexity of myth itself. Combining materials allows for a tactile richness that echoes the weathered surfaces of ancient Egyptian wall paintings while also introducing contemporary expression.
