This artwork is an exploration of the human figure through light, shadow, and emotion. Using charcoal, I focused on the expressive quality of contrast to create a sense of depth, vulnerability, and quiet strength. The figure emerges from darkness through soft transitions and dramatic tonal shifts, emphasizing form, movement, and atmosphere rather than precise detail.
