The First Shelter represents the idea of origin and primal safety. Inspired by the womb as an emotional space, the painting explores the earliest experience of protection and stillness—where vulnerability is gently held rather than exposed. Through cocoon-like forms and softened figurative elements, the work reflects a space of becoming, emotional security, and quiet presence. It symbolizes the first place where life feels safe, nurtured, and free from fear.

The First Shelter is inspired by the idea of the womb as an emotional space rather than a purely biological form. For me, it represents the earliest experience of protection, stillness, and becoming—a space where vulnerability is held gently instead of being exposed. Through my work, I explore how human beings seek safety not only through physical relationships, but also within memory, emotion, and inner consciousness.
