I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Fine Arts (Painting) from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University, Baroda, which laid a strong foundation for my artistic practice. Over the years, I have consistently pursued creative expression through painting, participating in numerous exhibitions, residencies, and art events across India and internationally. My artistic journey spans more than three decades, with a strong presence in both national and international art platforms. I have showcased my work at significant events such as the Gwangju International Art Fair in South Korea (2024), and exhibitions like "Baroda March" in New Delhi, and "Posthumous Dialogues with F.N. Souza" at the Museum of Goa. My participation has extended to state-level exhibitions organized by the Lalit Kala Akademi in Patna, and residencies such as the Dhanbad Art Fair and Sandarbh International Workshop. In 2025, my work Untouchable God received recognition at the 2nd State Level Kala Exhibition organized by the Department of Art, Culture, and Youth, Government of Bihar. My creative process is rooted in experimentation with mediums and an evolving dialogue with form and context. From solo shows in Baroda and Dhanbad to collaborative exhibitions in Mumbai, Kochi, Ahmedabad, and Bhopal, each opportunity has allowed me to engage with diverse artistic communities and deepen my visual vocabulary. Through this journey, I have remained committed to the pursuit of meaningful art practice—one that reflects both individual exploration and collective resonance. I continue to work from my home state of Bihar while participating in national-level forums and contributing to the broader discourse of contemporary Indian art.
